桂圓成熟於桂花飄香之時,另有一個極霸氣的名字 ~「龍眼」。有益補血氣和安神之效,自古為珍貴的天然補品。桂圓的甜度隨著時間降低,去籽可製成桂圓乾。以桂圓乾和枸杞子泡茶,厚韻回甘,加上西洋蔘和麥冬,沒那麼容易上火。將茶煮沸後倒入保溫瓶中浸泡,可節省能源。下午喝一杯,晚上睡得很香甜唷 ~

◤材料(1人份)
- 桂圓乾 Dried Longan 3 顆
- 枸杞子 Goji Berry 5 顆
- 西洋蔘 (花旗蔘) American Ginseng 2 薄片
- 麥冬 Dwarf Lily-turf Tuber 3~5 顆
- 杭菊 Dried White Chrysanthemum 3 g (選擇性加入,腸胃不適者可省)
- 清水 Water 400 ~ 1000 ml
◤做法
❶ 桂圓乾、西洋蔘、枸杞子、麥冬用流水沖洗,放入鍋中,注入清水,開火煮沸後調至微火,加蓋煮 10 ~ 15 分鐘

❷ 將湯汁及所有材料全部倒入保溫瓶中,蓋好蓋子,悶 4 ~ 6 小時,即可享用

小叮嚀
- 睡前喝可能引致頻尿,影響睡眠品質,最好在睡前 4 ~ 6 小時飲用。桂圓滋補功效強大,未必人人皆宜,初服者最好諮詢醫師的意見,有感冒症狀的朋友亦不宜飲用
- 將枸杞子泡軟,沒有褪色,水沒有被染紅者為天然,切開有棕黃色種籽 20 顆或以上,略扁成腎臟形,方有藥效
- 西洋蔘皺摺愈多愈好,外皮顏色較深,切開肉質呈土黃色,質感非常扎實,動用剪樹枝的剪刀才能剪開的才屬正品。薄片含在嘴裡味道甘甜,咬碎後有點苦,甘味在口中殘留約半小時

Preparation
1. Rinse dried longan, goji berries, american ginseng and dwarf lily-turf tuber. Boil all the ingredients in a glass saucepan over low heat, cover with lid and simmer for 10 ~ 15 mins.

2. Pour the solution and all ingredients into a thermo bottle, cover with lid and keep the solution warm for 4 ~ 6 hours. Drink 4 ~ 6 hours before sleep.
